I draw my inspiration mainly from ordinary things I see, places I travel to, and most importantly, feelings I experience.

As a young girl, making crafts, painting and drawing was a way to keep myself occupied by myself. I would colour in Barbie colouring books, make turtle puppets out recycled materials, and draw and paint landscapes all day.

Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, I currently reside here. My formal education was in Graphic Design at George Brown College’s School of Design (2004–2007) and Branding at Seneca College (2010). As a result, my experience has predominately been as a designer for 14 years while working for various design studios and advertising agencies, including a stint in São Paulo, Brazil, as an Art Director in 2009. I’ve also had the incredible opportunity to teach and share my knowledge of the creative design industry at 3 different Ontario colleges.

Aside from design and the arts, I am passionate about travelling. Last summer, I went on a trip to Portugal, where I explored Lisbon, Algarve southern cost and Azores' main island São Miguel.

Unsure about what direction I would like to take my artistic creativity, I am still experimenting with my style mostly using acrylic, and watercolour. Eventually, I would like to make some kind of living from this, since I've spent over a decade in the corporate advertising and design world working for others.
